Kids Day 2005 II |
Saturday,
February 26, 2005 |
Kids Day at Grand Geneva demonstrated the harmony of America.
High Sight, Pioneer, Grand Geneva, CMSC Clubs,Instructors, Associate
Members, and individuals provided the harmony between learning
and outdoor recreation. Mark Duhon , the Director of High Sight
proved that Kids Day isn't about "me" it's about the
KIDS. This day provided the equalization between learning and
using them right and left side of the brain. Participants receive
academics during the week and recreation and exercise at Grand
Geneva. High Sight, not Only provided resources of success to
the youth but the tools to develop each individuals fullest
potential. The chaperones from High Sight and CMSC encouraged
the youth to get up when we fall, work as a team, and to make
new contacts and friends which can last a life time.
Kids Day harmony was demonstrated when all the sponsors shared
one thing. This event was not about "me" it was about
the Kids. Grand Geneva and CMSC shared this message "Its
about Kids" in organizing this event and the enthusiasm
for success of our youth. Grand Geneva instructors took extra
time with teaching Kids after they traveled the magic carpet.
They showed them skiing techniques and gave them the freedom
to graduate from the magic carpet to the aged glacierous terrain
at Grand Geneva.
Pioneer Bus Company planned, implemented, and provided pleasurable
transportation for the participants and chaperones. The staff
share enthusiasm and wish success for the youth of High Sight.
