TOO EARLY FOR MIDWEST SKIING/BOARDING??
Nah...you'd be right for anywhere other than a trip to Ski Brule!
We have been going to Ski Brule in December for 18 of the last 20 years and have never had to cancel because of the weather. Brule's planned opening date is 2nd weekend of November, that’s 2 weeks before even most places in Colorado plan to open (granted it's easier to cover grass than it is to cover boulders). This is a great warm up trip to get the new season started!
INCLUDED IN TRIP:
• Two nights lodging in multi-bedroom House, with Fireplace and private Hot Tub in the base village at Ski Brule.
• 2 day lift ticket.
• Saturday and Sunday breakfast buffet.
• Saturday: FREE beer Après Ski.
• Saturday Dinner at The Homestead. The Homestead BBQ dinner includes Ski Brule's famous pulled pork, chicken, potato, sauerkraut, salad, dessert, rolls and beverage.
• After dinner, head back to the lodge for dancing and watching the torch-light parade.
KEEP IN MIND:
This is a carpool trip. It's about a 5 1/2 hour drive, we will assist with carpooling but no guarantees. The later you sign up the harder it is to help you connect with the driver who still has a room left. Some of us will be making it a half work day and leaving in the afternoon, while others won't leave until 5 PM.
SKI BRULE LODGING:
These are privately owned houses with "mandatory" Hot Tub in each house, and fully equipped kitchen. You could find lofts, bunk beds, day beds, trundles (mattress on rollers that slides under another bed) and you will not find 1 bathroom per bedroom.
