It appears some confusion continues to exists regarding how to access the  CMSC Club Maintenance area.  Either the Club President feels he/she has not received log-in information or other Club Officers feel they should have the ability to log-in and have no idea who to turn to.

A note to the Presidents
(if you are not the President please pass this information on.)

Initially log-in information was sent to all Club Presidentswitht eh directive to please issue additional account to any of his.her club officers who will help in maintaining the club information, announcements as well as Trips/Events.

CMSC feels the responsibility of assigning additional accounts should remain with the Club President. As Club President, he/she is in a much better position to decide who in your club should have access to your club information and the authority to update it.

If you are brand new to the system, you may want to check out the "Getting Started" guide.  An on-line version of the guide can be found on the opening page of the Club Maintenance system or a downloadable PDF version can be found in the "Minutes & Other Document" area.

New incoming Club Officers

To keep the system running smoothly, it is essential that the incoming Officers are not left stranded. A current or outgoing Club Officer who has an active administrative log-in account, should assign at least one new log-in account for one of the incoming Officers, along with a few brief comments how to log in.

If you are a Club Officer

If you are the Club Officer responsible for updating your club information and you have not been assigned a log-in account, please contact your Club President.  He/she is the only person with the authority to decide who should have access to your club information and the capability to update it. The President should not share his/her account with you, but rather set up a new one specifically for you.  Reason being, when updating information, the name of the person logged in is automatically added to the database during the update process.  If you use your Presidents account, it will have his/her name as the "Last updated by" person instead of yours.

Your Club President may assign a generic User Name and password for you. However, once you are logged-in, you have the option to change your password at any time and as often as you feel necessary.

If all else fails

If your situation can not be corrected as described above, you will have to contact CMSC.  How to resolve your unique situation will be decided on an individual basis by Glenn Yoshimura (Vice President of Membership) or Michael Pogar (Website Liaison.)  Please use the "Contact Us" form to send a message.
