Snowdrifters Ski Club was founded in 1961 to promote and celebrate the sport of downhill snow skiing in the Fox Valley region of Illinois. Over the years, we have grown in size and scope to become an alpine and social club with a year-round calendar of trips, sports, parties and special events. Snow Skiing and Boarding is our passion, but if you’re looking for affordable fun and a chance to meet new friends with common interests check us out!! We attract Singles, Married Couples and Families, with skill levels from beginner to advanced, and everything in between. Our Club membership is located primarily in the Fox Valley region, but some members come from as far east as Chicago and as far away as New Mexico. A number of our members do not ski, but enjoy participating in our year round social events, as well as taking in the beautiful scenery and varied activities that our Western U.S., Canadian, European and Midwestern trips offer.
Member meetings are on the third Monday of the month. We meet at Pal Joey's, 31 N River Street, Batavia, IL at 7:30pm. Note: Check our newsletter for updates.
