- Meeting Comments The Powder Dogs meet the 3rd Tuesday of each month around the Algonquin / Crystal Lake area. Check our web site for the current meeting place. Social hour starts 6:30. Meetings start at 7:30 pm and go about 30 - 45 minutes. When we have a guest speaker or activity, it usually starts around 8:00 and meetings adjourn by 9. Bring a friend with you!
