We have approximately 190 members and welcome singles, seniors, families, and anyone who enjoys the outdoors in and around Champaign, IL. During winter, we schedule 5-6 ski trips ranging from overnight to week-long trips throughout the U.S., Canada and Europe. We travel to a beach location for a week each winter. In spring and summer, we have regular social events such as tailgate parties, canoeing and kayaking trips, camping trips, bicycle and motorcycle rides, golf outings, happy hours at local restaurants, and all things active and outdoors near Champaign, IL. We schedule game nights at the many local public parks in Champaign County.
Each month a member opens their home for a Club party. New members are always welcome.

Membership Comments:
Founded in 1971 to promote the sport of skiing, we have since expanded our focus to many athletic activities. Members of any age are invited to snow ski in the winter, water ski in the summer, hike, bicycle, roller-blade, and travel together. Whether to our many local city parks, the beaches of Belize, or to the ski slopes of Montana or Switzerland, traveling with a group is rich and rewarding. Networking with our group will expand your horizons. You haven't skied until you ski with our geologist members from the Geologic Survey. Join in!
