Springfield Ski Club
At our May 19 Missouri Zip Line and Wine Fest event, we
tackle three swinging sky-bridges and four zip rides varying
in length from 200 to 1,250 feet, reaching speeds of 50
mph. Afterwards, it’s the Washington, Missouri Art Fair and
Wine Fest for a little rest and relaxation. On July 21 we
attend the Cubs-Cardinals baseball game at Busch Stadium
and afterwards head to historic Laclede’s Landing on St.
Louis’ waterfront. The Vintage Illinois at Starved Rock Wine
Festival (vintageillinois.com) is Sep. 17. Last year there Springfield Ski Club
were 25 wineries and plenty of food and entertainment.
