The Terrain and Experience

Expert Paradise: While it has beginner areas, St. Anton is legendary for its challenging off-piste terrain and steep "bump" runs. The Valluga peak offers some of the most extreme lift-accessed freeriding in Europe.
Vast Scale: The Ski Arlberg region (including Lech, Zürs, and Stuben), totals over 300 km of marked runs and 200 km of off-piste routes.
The Run of Fame: A spectacular 85 km ski circuit that takes you through the entire region, featuring 18,000 meters of vertical descent.
Modern Infrastructure: The resort features world-class lifts, including the unique Galzigbahn, which uses Ferris wheel technology to allow ground-level boarding.

Quick Facts

Snowfall: One of the snowiest regions in the Alps, averaging around 7 meters (275 inches) of snowfall annually.
Season: Typically runs from late November to late April.
Accessibility: Unusually for a major ski resort, St. Anton has its own train station in the town center, making it easily accessible from Innsbruck, Zurich, or Munich.
