As America’s newest purpose-built destination resort, Tamarack combines modern alpine amenities with untamed Idaho beauty and uncrowded slopes.

Rising 2,800 vertical feet from its 4,900-foot base to a 7,700-foot summit on West Mountain, Tamarack offers an expansive playground for winter sports enthusiasts of all ability levels. Skiers and snowboarders enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of snow-draped Lake Cascade while carving down wide groomers off the Tamarack Express, exploring scenic glades, or dropping into steep, exhilarating bowls off the Summit Express.

The Village at Tamarack

The Village at Tamarack serves as the vibrant heart of the resort, offering true ski-in/ski-out convenience, pedestrian-friendly heated plazas, and alpine timber architecture. Guests can unwind after a day on the slopes around outdoor fire pits, grab artisan coffee, dine at resort restaurants, sample craft beers at the local taphouse, or browse the gear and rental shops all within steps of the lifts.

With an average of 300 inches of light Rocky Mountain snowfall each winter, uncrowded lift lines, and an authentic community vibe, Tamarack delivers the ultimate setting for our 14th Annual Spring Fling!
