Mississippi Valley Ski Club
We are the only active ski club in the Iowa/Illinois Quad Cities.
The Quad Cities consists of cities in Illinois and Iowa that are
separated by the mighty Mississippi River. That is how we got our
name—Mississippi Valley Ski Club. We offer downhill, snowboarding,
cross-country and snowshoeing. All ages, all abilities are welcome.
We have guest speakers or activities as a part of all our club
meetings. They have included talks by Master gardeners, ski patrol,
carving, trivia, etc. We also offer summer, spring and fall activities
like: hiking, biking, canoeing, picnicking and pub/dinner nights.

Oak Park Ski Club
Oak Park Ski Club pursues skiing and snowboarding, but during
the year it sponsors many outdoor and indoor events. We’ve done
excursions to Ravinia, ice cream socials in Park Ridge and scenic
bicycle tours. We target a different “Bar of the Month” regularly and
have run recent ski trips to Big Sky, Mt. Bachelor and others. The
club’s big asset is its own year-round lodge, located in the Boyne
Mountain ski and vacation area. Members, their families and friends
who use the lodge are treated to a modern, fully-equipped kitchen
and accommodations for 42 guests. (oakparkskiclub.org)
